Michael Stern, Vice Chairman of the Southern Regional Health Authority
Administrative services at May Pen Hospital in Clarendon are to be moved off site as the authorities try to create more space for patient beds at the facility.
The hospital has been dealing with a shortage of beds.
Speaking at a Jamaica Labour Party meeting on Sunday, Michael Stern, Vice Chairman of the Southern Regional Health Authority, said a solution is being implemented.
Administrative staff will be moved to a rented property.
Mr. Stern said land has already been identified in Chapleton for a new administrative building.
