The attorney representing Jamar Grant, who is charged with the murder of university student Anisa Dilworth, is to renew an application for bail in March 6.
Mr. Grant's attorney, Davion Vassell, informed the St. Catherine Parish Court on Friday.
He is charged with murder and kidnapping.
Allegations are that on May 7, Ms. Dilworth was last seen going into a taxi.
Ten days later, the skeletal remains of a woman were found on a beach in Hellshire in Portmore, St. Catherine.
Tests and DNA analysis were conducted, and the remains were confirmed to be that of the 20-year-old pharmacy student.
Mr. Grant, also called 'Balla' of 9 miles in Bull Bay, St. Andrew, and Sligoville, St. Catherine was subsequently arrested.
He was later charged.
