Robert Pickersgill, People's National Party (PNP) Chairman, has been released from hospital after undergoing back surgery.
RJR News understands that Mr. Pickersgill was in hospital for at least a week.
PNP Deputy General Secretary Julian Robinson said Mr. Pickersgill was in "good spirits" and would likely be able to resume responsibilities in his post as party chairman in short order.
