Gunmen fire shots into parking lot of Nationwide News

There was a gun attack on the offices of Nationwide News Network this afternoon.

The station's Deputy Executive Editor George Davis reported the attack in a breaking news item shortly after 4:30 p.m.

NNN reported that three shots were fired in the parking lot at its Bradley Avenue compound.

No one was injured in the attack but employees are reportedly shaken up.

Mr. Davis told Radio Jamaica News in a brief conversation that employees were terrified and some inconsolable in the aftermath of the attack.

He noted that the station had called the police and would be putting in extra security measures.

A large contingent of police have since cordoned off a section of Bradley Avenue in response to the attack.
