A hearing in the assault case involving Leoda Bradshaw has been pushed back to Friday after the woman accused of the attack failed to appear in the St. Catherine Parish Court on Tuesday.
Acting Senior Parish Court Judge Janelle Nelson-Gayle postponed the matter after the court was told that the accused, Kilfer Gilchrist was not brought from the South Camp Adult Correctional Centre.
Gilchrist is charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.
At the previous hearing, an attempt at mediation failed after Bradshaw declined.
Bradshaw, who is charged with the 2023 murders of 10-month-old Sarayah Paulwell and her mother, Toshyna Patterson, was allegedly assaulted while in custody at the Bridgeport lock-up in Portmore, St. Catherine.
Sarayah was the daughter of People's National Party Member of Parliament Phillip Paulwell, who also shares a child with Bradshaw.
Bradshaw is also charged with kidnapping and conspiracy to kidnap.
