Reggae artiste Jah Cure has been sentenced to six years in prison in The Netherlands for attempted manslaughter.
The sentence was handed down in a Dutch court on Tuesday.
The 43-year-old entertainer, whose given name is Siccature Alcock, was charged in October in relation to the stabbing of event promoter Nicardo 'Papa' Blake, during a dispute over unpaid performance fees.
He had faced up to 15 years in prison.
Alcock will be credited for time served and can appeal his sentence.
This is the artiste's second prison sentence following his rape conviction in 1999, which saw him spend eight years behind bars.
