A member of the Jamaica Defence Force is being sought following the circulation of a video online depicting behaviour contrary to policy.
The JDF says on examination of the footage, the individual involved appears to be Private Oshani Thompson.
It says Private Thompson is currently being sought by the Force for the military offence of Absence Without Leave, as he abandoned the service on July 17, 2024.
He is 26 years old, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, and has a dark complexion.
The JDF is asking anyone with information on Private Thompson's whereabouts to contact the nearest police station or call the JDF Tip Line at 876-837-8888.
The JDF has condemned the behaviour displayed and assures the public that the actions of the individual depicted in military attire are not in keeping with the Force's core values.
