A man was arrested and a firearm and eleven rounds of ammunition seized following a shooting on Morgan's Lane in St. Andrew on Thursday evening.
The man is in hospital under police guard after he was chopped during the altercation with two other men.
It's reported that, about 7:30 p.m., the accused and the men had a disagreement.
He reportedly left and returned with a firearm which he used to shoot them.
One of the men used a machete to chop the gunman, who fled the scene.
He was later arrested by the police.
