Election Day workers and members of the security forces voted across the island on Friday during the special services voting exercise ahead of the September 3 poll.
Director of Elections Glasspole Brown said voting had been "going fairly well" when he spoke with Radio Jamaica News at 4 p.m. on Friday, prior to the close of polling stations.
The Police High Command said the administrative process for Friday's voting exercise for members of the JCF was adequate and proceeded in an orderly manner.
People's National Party (PNP) spokesperson on national security, Peter Bunting on Thursday raised concerns about what he said were "troubling anomalies" in the arrangements for voting by Election Day workers, police and military.
Mr. Bunting claimed a number of police officers assigned to non-geographical locations such as chaplaincy, narcotics and the National Intelligence Bureau have had their traditional polling stations changed to Kingston, despite previously voting in rural parishes across the island.
But in a post on social media, the JCF said few formations had been affected and within those, only a small number of members had been impacted.
These include formations had quoted in Kingston but with branches outside of the Corporate Area.
The High Command said it had ensured that these members are given the full time needed to cast their vote.
In addition, it said where necessary, members have been given support with transportation to ensure the safe and timely arrival for voting.
