Urgent work is now underway in St. Lucia to strengthen pesticide control and management.
St. Lucia has one of the highest numbers of registered pesticides in the Caribbean, including a large number of highly hazardous pesticides.
The aim of the project is to boost sound pesticide management that will produce long-term benefits for all Saint Lucians, in the form of improved human well-being and environmental quality.
