Development Economist Dr. Chris Stokes
Development Economist Dr. Chris Stokes believes some of the initiatives announced by Prime Minister Andrew Holness in his contribution to the 2025/2026 Budget Debate will improve productivity and generate economic growth.
Dr. Stokes, who was a guest Friday on The Morning Agenda, on Power 106FM, said the plans to improve the country's road network, reduction in energy cost, and increasing access to housing will help to spur economic activity.
But, Dr. Stokes believes the government needs to do more to drive economic growth within the private sector.
