The St Andrew South Police are keeping a close watch on the community of Maverly in St Andrew following a double murder on Saturday afternoon.
The police report that, sometime after 5:00 p.m., two men were standing along Fairfield Avenue when a car drove up. It's understood that an occupant in the vehicle called out to one of the men and opened fire before speeding off.
Two men were shot during the incident and were later pronounced dead.
The St Andrew South Police are asking anyone with information that could assist their investigations to contact them.
