Two persons die in two-vehicle crash in St. Elizabeth

Two persons died Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Hodges main road on the outskirts of Black River, St Elizabeth.
 
They have been identified as  50 year-old Andrea Walters, a seasonal farm worker, and Gary Berry, 46, alabourer of Crawford district in the parish.
 
The crash happened about 12:05p.m.
 
It's reported that Mr Berry was driving his motorcycle from Brompton to Black River, while a white Toyota Voxy with passengers aboard was traveling in the opposite direction.
 
The bus reportedly made a right turn, resulting in the motorcyclist crashing in the side door.
 
Ms Walters, who was a passenger in the bus, was critically injured. She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead. 
 
The bike reportedly caught fire on impact.
 
The blaze was extinguished by the Black River Fire Brigade.
 
The driver of the bus was warned for prosecution.
