Former President of Guyana Bharrat Jagdeo is continuing to make international headlines as a lobbyist and ambassador on Climate Change and Sustainable development issues.
He is now listed to speak at the 2012 IUCN World Conservation Congress to be held at Jeju International Convention Center, September 5-16, in Northeast Asia, for the first time in its more than 60-year history.
Others who will address the conference include Richard Branson, the British business magnate who founded Virgin Grou and Marvin Odum, president of Shell Oil Co.
The congress which is held every four years claims to be the largest and most important event in the global environmental community
It brings together key people from all sectors - governments, non-governmental organizations, science and business organizations.
