The 2019 edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) draft will be held on May 22 in London. Tournament Operations Director Michael Hall says the draft is held later this year so that franchises can be aware of the other tournaments their international players will be involved in. In previous season's, players pulled out of the CPL due to international commitments or clashes with other leagues.
The 2019 edition of the CPL is set to run from August 21 to September 27. The Trinbago Knight Riders are the defending champions of the CPL.
