Another Jamaican Sub 10-seccond sprinter

Kemarly Brown, a former St. Elizabeth Technical athlete now representing Merritt College in the United States, produced 9.93 seconds on Saturday to retain his California Community College title and became the second fastest man in the world this year, 1/100th of a second slower than Justin Gatlin's 9.92 secs.

21-year-old Brown becomes the joint seventh fastest Jamaican of all-time.

Brown represented Jamaica at the 2011 Carifta Track and Field Championships where he failed to medal in the 200 meters won by Delano Williams.
