Best knocks CWI for sacking Windies coaching staff just before World Cup

Former West Indies fast bowler Tino Best says the firing of the entire coaching staff for the senior West Indies team prior to the World Cup has played out with the performances on the field of play at the ongoing ICC World Cup for the Caribbean team. The West Indies have lost three of their five games while winning once at the World Cup so far and the Barbadian believes the kneejerk reaction of the board to fire then interim coach Richard Pybus after the elections, is evident in England.

Speaking on Hitz 92 FM's Sports Grill on Wednesday, best said  former Jamaica and West Indies fast bowler Michael Holding had questioned the decision to change the backroom staff and he believes it was a mere bully tactic from new Cricket West Indies president Ricky Skeritt.
