Bravo brothers, Narine and Pollard could return to Windies set-up ahead of 2019 World Cup

The Bravo brothers, Dwayne and Darren as well as Sunil Narine and Kieron Pollard could return to the West Indies set-up ahead of the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup in England following a recent meeting with the top brass of Cricket West Indies.

Cricket West Indies CEO Johnny Grave as well as Director of Cricket Jimmy Adams met with the four Trinidadians recently and urged them to play in the regional Super 50 competition which has been moved forward to October this year instead of February of 2019.

That move means the competition will not clash with various domestic T20 leagues around the world, paving the way for the four players to play in the regional tournament. Narine, Pollard and Darren Bravo all chose to play in the Pakistan Super League instead of the World Cup qualifiers earlier this year.

The relationship between those players and the board worsened in April when they claimed they were being robbed of the opportunity to contribute to hurricane relief after not being selected for a charity match at Lord's.

Pollard last played an ODI for the West Indies in September of 2017, Narine and Darren Bravo in October of 2016, while Dwayne Bravo's last match for the Windies in the 50 over format was back in 2014.
