A sixth straight win in the Wray & Nephew Jamaica Premier League (JPL) has Cavalier at the top of the standings following the completion of games in match week 14.
The Rudolph Speid-coached team secured a fifth straight league win against Harbour View after clipping them 1-0 at the Tony Spaulding Sports Complex on Wednesday. Jerome McLeary made the difference with a second half header.
With the result, Cavalier moved to 30 points, one ahead of champions Mount Pleasant who salvaged a point away to Portmore United on Wednesday at Ferdie Neita Park.
Meanwhile, Speid confirmed that national defender Richard King and striker Shaniel Thomas are en route for a trial in Scotland but says the team is prepared to continue their run.
It was a fifth defeat for the “Stars of the East” who won their previous two games.
