Last season's schoolboy football standout Kaheim Dixon scored on his debut for Arnett Gardens to inspire them to a 2-1 win over Harbour View in the Wray & Nephew Jamaica Premier League on Monday night at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex.
Dixon put Arnett 2-0 up three minutes after Jamone Shepherd had the “Junglists” 1-0 up in the 77th minute. Andre Fagan grabbed a consolation for the “Stars of the East” in fifth minute of stoppage time.
It was a fifth defeat for Harbour View who remain 11th on 16 points. Arnett sit fourth on 33 points, two off leaders Mount Pleasant.
Meanwhile, Tivoli Gardens made it four wins in six matches by edging Vere United 2-1. Horatio Morgan was the architect of the win with a double strike. His goals came in minutes 60 and 65.
A Shaquille Jones own goal gave Vere a chance but Tivoli held their nerve to move to 31 points.
