Eltham High beat St George's College by 18 runs on Friday to reach their eighth ISSA/Grace Shield final, which will be against Excelsior. They dismissed St George's College for 128, as Kimani Wilson led the way with 33.
Captain Ramone Francis took 6-67 and Rahim Garnett 3-52. With a five run deficit, Eltham made 155 in their second innings with Simon Lee picking up 6-56, and Kirk McKenzie 3-72 for St George's who needed 151 to win.
Romaine Donegal 65 and Francis 28 were the top-scorers for Eltham who then dismissed St George's for 132.
Francis led their dismissal and his team's victory with 8-67, for a total of 14 in the match to take his tally to 50 for the season.
Meanwhile, Excelsior who had already qualified for the final, went on to post 447 in their innings after resuming Friday morning on 362-5 against St Catherine High. Ohkachie Brown fell for 46 and Orlando Rowe 32. Davanie Morgan took 3-37 and Raheem Robinson 3-77.
St Catherine in reply were bowled out for 139 in 46 overs. Davanie Morgan top-scored with 92 against Romario Brown 5-21 and Orlando Rowe 3-20. The game was called off after tea.
