Glenmuir and STETHS to battle in DaCosta Cup final

Favourites Glenmuir High and St Elizabeth Technical will square off in the final of the ISSA DaCosta Cup competition after securing semi-final wins over Kemps Hill High and Dinthill Technical, respectively in a double header at Sabina Park on Wednesday afternoon.

Glenmuir secured back to back appearances in the final after a come from behind 2-1 over Dinthill Technical. Omanie Morrison put Dinthill Technical in front in the 47th minute.

But, captain Orane Watson pulled Glenmuir level from the penalty spot in minute 63. Watson returned for his second and the winner in second half stoppage time.

5-time champions STETHS clipped Kemps Hill 1-0 in the second semi-final. Kemoy Banton scored the all-important goal in the 48th minute. The final will be contested on Saturday at the National Stadium.
