JAAA to have hands full with team selections

With the World Championships just over two months away, the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) is set to have several selection decisions to make in the coming months with a cluster of senior and junior international track and field meets on the calendar.

However, the JAAA will be leaning on athletes to advise them of their availability. The World Championships and World Under-20 Championships are the headline international track and field events for seniors and juniors this year.

However, the Commonwealth Games, NACAC Senior Championships and Caribbean Games will also offer competitions in athletics meaning local track and field's governing body will depend on athletes indicating their preferences before doing their selections.
