Jamaica beaten 1-0 yet again in Copa America

Jamaica suffered a second consecutive 1-0 defeat at the 44th Copa America tournament in Chile on Tuesday, going down to Paraguay. 

The goal came in the 36th minute when goalkeeper Dwayne Kerr came outside the penalty box and headed a long ball unto the knees of Benitez, only to see the ball richocet over Kerr's head and into an unprotected goal.

Jamaica who also lost 1-0 to Uruguay in their opening match are without a  point after two games. Paraguay moved to the top of the Group on 4 points.

Jamaica inserted Jevaughn Watson in place of fellow striker Darren Mattocks in Tuesday's encounter.

Mattocks eventually came on in the 76th minute , the final of three substitutions with Lance Laing replacing Watson in the 57th minute and Deshorn Brown coming on for Giles Barnes in the 62nd. minute

Jamaica's final group match is against 2-time World Cup champions Argentina and Lionel Messi.
