Jamaica to play Lebanon in Davis Cup Group 11

Jamaica will play away to Lebanon from September 15-17 in Group 11 of the Davis Cup following the draw which took place on Thursday. Lebanon is ranked 47 in the world, while Jamaica is ranked 60th, moving up from 69th.

Jamaica advanced to Group 11 after beating Estonia 3-2 in the qualifiers played at the Eric Bell National Tennis Centre over the weekend.

The winning nations from Group 11 will play the losing teams from Group 1 in the 2024 world Group 1 playoffs.

Jamaica's coach Mel Spence was pleased with the draw, adding that additional technical preparation will be given to the doubles going forward.
