Jamaica's 2-man bobsleigh team finishes 30th at Winter Olympics

Jamaica's 2-man bobsleigh team of Shanwayne Stephens and Nimroy Turgott failed to improve on their position and finished 30th and last in their event following heat three on Tuesday at the Winter Olympics in Beijing, China.

The pair finished with a combined time of 3 minutes, 04.12 seconds after registering a time of 1 minute, 01.54 seconds in heat three. Their time was not good enough to get into the top 20 for progression to the 4th round.
Heats one and two were contested on Monday.

Stephens and Turgott will now team up with Ashley Watson and Rolando Reid for the 4-man sled. Their   training heats will begin on Wednesday before the actual competition gets going on Saturday.
