West Indies T-20 World Cup winner Lndl Simmons of Trinidad and Tobago, is among the leading players brought in by the Jamaica Tallawahs at the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) draft in Barbados on Friday. Simmons was previously with the Guyana Jaguars and has been brought in along with Pakistan pacer Mohammed Sami.
Young West Indies Under-19 World Cup winner Gidron Pope has also been brought in along as well as wily left arm pacer Krishmar Santokie.
The defending champions have retained Kumar Sangkarra, leading Bangladeshi all- rounder Shakib al Hasan, Rovman Powell, Kesrick Williams and Pakistan's Imad Wasim
But they have lost wicket-keeper-batsman Chadwick Walton to the Guyana Amazon Warriors while Jerome Taylor has been retained by the St Lucia Stars.
