South African fast bowler Makhaya Ntini, has announced his retirement from international cricket.
Ntini, 33 who made his debut in January 1998 was the first black cricketer to to represent South Africa.
He also appeared in 101 tests and 173 one day internationals. His 390 wickets puts him second on South Africa’s all time list and 11th overall.
Ntini’s 13 for 132 against the West Indies in Trinidad in 2005 remains the best match analysis by a South African.
