Jamaica's world record holder Asafa
Powell and world champion Tyson gay could clash in July in their build up to
the Beijing Olympics.
Powell's agent Paul Doyle explained that both sprinters would meet before the Olympics, and that discussions were being held, as to the exact date and meet where the two will clash.
London appears to the front runner for a late July clash with three other European cities in the mix.
In the meantime both Powell and Gay appear set to compete in a few relay meets before the possible clash, Powell is slated for the University of Technology's International Track and Field classic this weekend and the Penn Relays, where Gay will also compete.
They two are also schedule to participate in the Mount Sac Relays.
