Reggae Boyz regain top Caribbean team title

Jamaica's Reggae Boyz are once again the top Caribbean team moving up 11 places to now rank 65th in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola world rankings, seven places above rivals Trinidad and Tobago who remain at 72nd.

The Jamaican's who open their Gold Cup campaign against Canada in California at 5 p.m. local time on Friday, are now fifth in CONCACAF behind leaders USA who are ranked 12th in the world and up two places.

Brazil rose four spots to gain the number one spot for the first time since August 2007, ending Spain's one-year reign after they were upset by the USA in the semifinal of the Confederations Cup last week.

The European Champions are now second. 

The Netherlands fell to third, World Cup Champions Italy stayed fourth and Germany slipped two places to fifth. 

Russia, England, Argentina, France and Croatia rounded out the top 10.
