Tricia Robinson is now officially the president of Netball Jamaica after she was elevated to the office unopposed at Saturday's Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA) headquarters. She takes over from Dr Paula Daley-Morris who spent 4 years at the helm.

Robinson was due to take office last December but was delay due to the lack of a qorum and the absence of a financial statement. At a contentious meeting on Saturday, all the requirements were met as Robinson's wait for the presidency finally came to an end.

Several high profile members were at the meeting but not many were willing to comment on the new path. Former national player and senior team coach Sasher-Gaye Henry didn't shy away in giving her opinion and she says it is disappointing to see how the sport has rundown.

Henry says more clarity is also need to make the sport better. The rest of the board is completed by Simone Forbes, Karlene Waugh, Jennifer Headlam, Keyan Murdock, Wayne Shaw, Leonie Phinn, Denise Wisdom and Janet Johnson-Haughton.
