Sunshine Girls Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard and Latanya Wilson have been voted as the number 1 and 2 players respectively among the top 15 players in Australia's Suncorp Super Netball League for 2025.
The 36 year old Fowler-Nembhard who missed the first two rounds for the West Coast Fever, delivered one of the most impressive seasons of her career.
Despite the late start, she finished with 841 goals, the most in the league, at 97 percent accuracy. Fowler-Nembhard turned the Fever's season around, as the team made history by winning a record 13 consecutive matches before losing to the Melbourne Vixens in the Grand Final.
The 24 year old Wilson who represents the Adelaide Thunderbirds, topped the charts for interceptions with 41 in the 2025 season, almost double the number for the next best defender. She also led the league for deflections with 97 and gains, totalling 77.
The 2026 season of the Suncorp Super Netball League is set to get underway on March 14.
