Twenty-eight Jamaicans who were deported from the United States arrived in the island on Thursday.
In a social media post, the Jamaica Constabulary Force said the deportees were met by personnel from the Ministry of Health and interviewed.
They were tested for COVID-19 and later transferred to a government facility.
Twelve more deportees are expected in coming days.
They are among 220 Jamaicans scheduled to return to the island by next week.
