The Jamaica Defence Force has declared the December call-out of the Jamaica National Reserve a success, saying it led to a reduction in criminal activities during that period, when compared to previous years.
The members of the National Reserve were deployed across the island.
The JDF says it is pleased that the deployment of its members contributed to an atmosphere of safety during the festive season.
