JLP yet to finalise timeline for release of its election manifesto

Kamina Johnson Smith and Dr. Nigel Clarke

The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) has said it is yet to finalise a timeline for the release of its election manifesto.

The JLP held a virtual media briefing Friday afternoon, where it outlined the party's achievements over the last four and a half years.

Asked when the manifesto will be made public, JLP member Kamina Johnson Smith said she would not give a specific date, but said the party "will announce it in short order."

JLP campaign spokesman Dr. Nigel Clarke said the party will next week release a document of its achievements in office. He said while an executive summary was provided today, the full document, which will be "quite thick", will be published "and then we'll take it from there."
