PM to give timeline for other cruise ships to bring home Jamaicans

Dr. Horace Chang

Prime Minister Andrew Holness is expected on Monday to give a timeline for allowing other ships to bring home Jamaican workers.

National Security Minister Dr. Horace Chang told journalists Thursday afternoon that a schedule is currently being worked out for nine cruise lines, including "three major ships to come in."

The three major ships, he said, are the Disney, Carnival and Norwegian Caribbean cruise lines.

He redirected prompts to give a timeline for their arrival, noting that "it's a very sensitive area, and on Monday, the Prime Minister will be able to announce a timeline for all of them."
