With questions being asked by the opposition spokesman on sports about whether the Ministry of Sports followed procurement procedures for the resurfacing work on the National Stadium track, one of the company that was in the running to undertake the work has said "no bidding process" took place.

Following calls by the shadow spokesman on sports, Wavell Hinds for the Integrity Commission to investigate the procurement process relating to the work on the Stadium track, TVJ Sports interviewed Peter Breuer of track supplier Regupol Germany who were in the running to resurface the track.

The Sports Ministry is yet to respond about the procurement process. There is no confirmation as to when the track will be certified ahead of Tuesday's start of the Boys and Girls Championships.
