Actor Dustin Diamond - Contributed
US actor Dustin Diamond, best known for playing the character Screech Powers on sitcom Saved by the Bell, has died.
He died on Monday, a few weeks after completing his first round of chemotherapy for stage 4 lung cancer.
Diamond was initially hospitalized in January after complaints of excessive pain and unease.
He was 44 years old.
Saved by the Bell was first broadcast on NBC in 1989.
