Sherlon Russell is the season 16 winner of Digicel Rising Stars.
The show's finale which took place Sunday night, saw Russell walking away with the title, the $1.5 million prize purse, an additional $1.5 for charity work plus other prizes.
Singing rival Celicea Ellis walked away with $600,000 plus prizes.
The night also featured performances from season 16 contestants plus past winner Short Boss, as well as "the sauce boss" Kemar Highcon, D Major and Craigy T.
The talent competition has launched the careers of some well recognised names in the music industry including Christopher Martin, Romain Virgo as well as Dalton Harris.
