Eastern Caribbean dollar remains strong against USD

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank says the EC dollar, the currency used by several countries within the sub-region, remains strong, 45 years after it had been pegged to the United States dollar.
 
The EC dollar has been pegged at a fixed rate of EC$2.70 to one US dollar.
