Trump set to impose new tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China

US President Donald Trump says he will be placing a 25% tariff on all goods coming into the USA from Mexico, Canada and China, effective Saturday.
 
Mexico exported US$466 billion in goods to the USA, Canada exported approximately US$450 billion, and China US$401 billion last year.
 
The US trade deficit with Mexico last year was running at US$238 billion or 0.82% of GDP. The gap between exports and imports with Canada was US$45 billion or 0.2% of GDP. 
 
For China, the trade deficit was US$270 billion or 0.93% of GDP.
