In a battle of relegation-threatened clubs, Molynes United and Harbour View did themselves no favours as the two played out a 2-2 draw in their Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League (JPL) encounter at the Drewsland Stadium on Monday. The game was five minutes old when Ronaldo Bennett sent Molynes United in front.
Harbour View were staring down the barrel when Nicholas Nelson made it 2-2 with another 4 minutes added.
However, the "Stars of the East" fought back through dead ball specialist Trayvon Reid to cut the deficit to 2-1 in the 28th minute.
Molynes had a setback on the stroke of half time when midfielder Dhumar McLaughlin, who was initially shown a yellow card, saw it quickly changed to red. With the numerical advantage, Harbour View hit back to pull level in the 82nd minute through Rushane Thompson.
However, Harbour View will be without their talisman Reid for their next game, as his yellow card in stoppage time was also upgraded to red. Waterhouse defeated Spanish Town Police 3-0 in the second game of the double header.
