Former Bad Boy artist G-Dep was handed a 15 year prison sentence for confessing to an unsolved crime.
In 2010, as part of his drug rehab for PCP addiction, Trevell 'G-Dep' Coleman walked into a police station and confessed to what he thought was an armed robbery committed in his youth that turned out to be a homicide.
After a short trial G-Dep was found guilty, despite his claims that detectives had matched him to the wrong crime.
G-Dep was given a 15 year prison sentence, the lowest sentence allowed by law.
