The Balaclava police station in St. Elizabeth has been renovated.
This follows years of complaints by residents and police personnel about the poor state of the building.
Additionally, perimeter fencing has been erected and the cellblock which was condemned for years has also been restored.
The station, however, continues to suffer from a shortage of vehicles.
