A St. Ann man drowned after going fishing in Ocho Rios on Monday night.
Albert Aarons, a fisherman of Steer Town in the parish, reportedly left home about 6 p.m. Monday evening for his usual fishing voyage.
But when he did not return by the usual 10 p.m. his mother went to the Steer Town community to look for him but he was not seen.
Early Wednesday morning, community members went to the Pearly beach in search of Mr. Aarons and discovered his body floating in the sea.
The Ocho Rios Police were contacted and the body retrieved.
His snorkel and other paraphernalia were recovered.
