The new Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters at 2 Port Royal Street, downtown Kingston.
The new headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade has been named the Hugh Lawson Shearer building in honour of the former Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness made the announcement while at the official opening of the ministry's new building in downtown Kingston on Wednesday morning.
Mr. Holness said Mr. Shearer was Jamaica's longest serving Minister of Foreign Affairs.
