Another child has become the victim of gun violence.
Nine-year-old Shadaday Harrison, otherwise called ‘Poochie’, a student of Lime Tree Grove, Spanish Town in St. Catherine was shot dead at her home Tuesday night, July 12.
One of her relatives was also shot and injured in the incident.
The Spanish Town police report that about 10:00 p.m., gunmen kicked in the door of Shadaday's house and shot the child and her relative.
They were taken to hospital where Shadaday was pronounced dead and her relative admitted in stable condition.
