Old Harbour students arrested for beating student

Two male students of the Old Harbour High School in St.Catherine have been arrested and charged, while a third is being sought, following a brutal attack on a fellow student Thursday.

The boys aged 14 and 15 have been charged with felonious wounding.

The 14 year old victim, who is the Captain of the School's Under 15 Football team, suffered a serious injury to his head arising from the attack.

A source at the Old Harbour Police Station told our News Centre the injured boy will have to get a Cat Scan to determine the extent of his injury.

It is reported that while classes were on break Thursday, the footballer went to the bathroom but was set upon by the three boys, one of whom used a heavy piece of board to hit him on the head.

He was later found unconscious on the floor by a school official and rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital.

The two boys were later arrested by the police.
