Seven people have been charged in connection with the brutal beating of a 14-year-old girl on Holland Street in Denbigh, Clarendon on December 30.
Charged with unlawful wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm are 52-year-old Pauline Hughes, 36-year-old Shayanne Williams, 22-year-old Amanda Anderson and three female minors aged 15, 16 and 17 years.
A 17-year-old boy is also among those charged.
The adults are slated to appear in the May Pen Parish Court on January 11.
A video which has since gone viral showed the 14-year-old girl being thrown to the ground and kicked several times.
The incident reportedly stemmed from a love triangle involving the teen's mother, the mother's boyfriend and another woman.
The teenager is reportedly struggling to remember basic information after sustaining a major head injury during the assault. She was discharged from hospital on Tuesday.
In the meantime, Prime Minister Andrew Holness has said the attack on the teen is very distressing.
Bemoaning the "savage violence" unleashed on the teen by adults, Mr. Holness further lamented that even after the assault, the attackers appeared to have no remorse.
He made the remarks Thursday during a tour of flood damaged areas in Portland.
