2019 World Championship bronze medallist Rushell Clayton followed up her third place at the National Championships with a new season's best of 53.90 seconds to take second in the 400m hurdles at Thursday's Stockholm Diamond League meeting.
Fresh off her previous season's best 54.20 second clocking for third at last weekend's at the National Trials to book her spot to Oregon, Clayton further lowered that mark to now become the 8th fastest woman in the world this season.
The event was won by Femke Bol in 52. 27 seconds.
Clayton will join Tokyo Olympic finalist and national champion Janieve Russell and Shiann Salmon in Oregon later this month
In the meantime, Danielle Williams, who will be seeking a third World Championship medal in Oregon after gold in 2015 and bronze in 2019, logged a season-best equalling 12.59 seconds for fourth.
OIympic champion Jasmine Camacho Quinn of Puerto Rico copped the event in 12.46 seconds.
Williams will join Britany Anderson, who holds the sixth fastest time this season at 12.45 seconds and Tokyo Olympic bronze medallist Megan Tapper as Jamaica's representatives at the World Championships in the 100m hurdles.
Reigning World Championship silver medallist Danniel Thomas-Dodd produced 18.77 metres to place fifth in the shot put behind American world leader Chase Ealey with 20.48 metres.
